The House has passed a modernization bill to make schools more green. Repairs and upgrades being done to aging or damaged schools will be more environmentally friendly. This sounds encouraging. It still has to get through the Senate and so on before it's a done deal, but at least it's on the way. Now if they'll also invest some money in education itself and teachers' wages, we'd be all set.
