Calendar Girls are Back Baring All

If you've been living under a rock for the past ten years and have no idea who the "Calendar Girls" are, then I urge you to read on, watch the videos, and be amazed at what a group of brave Yorkshire women have done to change the world in so many ways. This year's calendar marks the tenth year anniversary since the original calendar was created to raise money for a local hospital in the wake of the illness and early death of one of the calendar girls' husbands. Their charity efforts have gone on to raise two million pounds for Leukaemia Research. In 2003, a movie was made about their story, starring Helen Mirren and Julie Waters. The story has now also come to stage, bringing this touching and funny story to the Noel Coward Theatre.
